Pastor Mitchell Spring
Founding & Lead Pastor
After years in the ministry in Utica, NY, Pastor Spring felt the call of God to move his family to the Oneonta area and begin a work here. Pastor Spring has been a licensed minister and pastor for more than 30 years. Along with his wife Rose, and his daughters Sarah and Rebekah, Pastor Spring began holding service in the Oneonta area in 1993. Pastor Spring is a down to earth, hands-on Pastor who loves God, and loves sharing the truth of God's Word with a resounding enthusiasm and devotion.
Sam Judd
Associate Pastor and Youth Leader
​Samuel Judd was radically saved in 2013 by the all-powerful grace of God through the cross of Jesus Christ. Since then, Sam has been passionate about spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through many different means. Sam has been working alongside his now wife as a youth leader at Spirit and Truth Ministries since the fall of 2014. In May of 2022 Sam was ordained as an associate pastor at the church. Sam loves writing for the local newspaper, The Daily Star, as a religion columnist. In 2023 Sam began a nursing home ministry at a local nursing home and rehabilitation center. He is also a part of the Otsego County Jail Ministry, where he visits the jail to share the life-changing and eternity-changing word of God. Sam has been actively involved in public relations and getting the church involved in different community events such as the annual Hometown 4th of July celebration in Neahwa Park, Balloon Fest, and local parades. Sam possesses a great love for preparing sermons and sharing them. He would love to meet you!
Rose Spring
Music Minister Ladies Ministry
​This is Rose Spring. She is a co-laborer with Pastor Spring. She has an incredible musical talent and powerful anointing that she uses to bless all those listening! Rose uses her position as worship leader to welcome in Jesus Christ as the Breaker of every chain. Her passionate love for God and for the people of God is clearly seen as she plays the keys and uses her voice not just to sing but to encourage the church and to lead us into battle. Rose views praise and worship as a means of overcoming the enemy and attaining victory in the battles of this life. Leading worship is just one of the many things that Rose selflessly does at this church. Looking for a servant’s heart? You will find it in this daughter of God. Rose is a shining example of what it means to go above and beyond in a life lived for the glory of God and the betterment of those she comes into contact with.

Rebekah Judd

Rebekah came to the Lord at a young age and continued to serve in different churches in both Utica and North Carolina during her college years. She moved back to oneonta and started the Impact youth group in 2014. As someone who grew up in a youth group, she knew how important and impactful this time is for teens and wanted to make a difference. Her heart is for people to be able to experience Jesus and have real encounters with Him, and wants people to have their own personal testimonies to share.

Dr.'s Joe & Shirley Rufrano
Marriage & Couples Counseling
​Joe and Shirley Rufrano shine bright like diamonds in this world! They are abounding in genuine compassion and empathy for those in need. They are the directors and doctors at Southside Chiropractic and Wellness Center and their compassion can be seen there day after day, whether it’s in providing physical care or being a voice of hope that a struggling person may not find anywhere else. This same type of loving concern is seen in their leadership here at Spirit and Truth Ministries. They have completed courses in family and marriage counseling and are passionate about seeing marriages and families succeed in the greatest way possible. As lovers and students of God's Word they also lead Bible Study Groups. In a nutshell, the Rufrano’s are simply amazing, Jesus centered people who love you even if they have never met you. Come on out this Sunday and get to meet them!
